Did your legislators helpt to obtain funding for animal welfare law enforcement this year? You can find out by visiting the HSUS article on the subject:Future Investment: A Little Funding Now Can Help A Lot of Animals in the Future: "It's important to thank legislators when they help advance animal welfare goals. If your senators and representative are on the list of legislators who signed the group letter seeking needed funds for animal welfare law enforcement, please thank them. If any of your legislators are missing from the list, please let them know you're disappointed that they declined to join on the letter that 182 lawmakers co-signed this year. To identify your legislators and their contact information, click here."Then, of course, you could do as the HSUS says and write your congress-folk. Bless them or curse them. As you wish.
