I see it as a worthwhile attempt to see Dobby placed in a good home. I hope you agree:

Experienced dog/pug owners only!

Dobby the House Elf (formerly Dauber) is a neutered black, 4 year old pugboy who is very talkative and playful.

Dobby is:

Housebroken but since he will have to be supervised for a while in case he wants to mark his territory.
Crate trained to "kennel up" and rides in a covered crate in the car.
Up to date on shots
Microchipped.
Gets along with men, cats, and small dogs (prefers girls).
Loves to sleep with you on the bed
He has an elongated soft palate that causes him to make sounds like he's growling when he isn't during times of high excitement. Other times, he breathes normally, and snores very little. Sometimes he IS growling -- it's hard to tell so an experienced pug owner who can become "in tune" with what Dobby is saying is really preferred. For instance Dobby does NOT tolerate toenail grooming and will have to be taken to a groomer, but he will submit to baths and brushing.
Dobby will need GENTLE behavior modification as he thinks he's dominant (he has a puggy Napoleon complex). However, once a proper relationship is established, he's a delightful little guy.

He can only be placed in a home WITH NO SMALL CHILDREN, including frequent small visitors (like grandkids.). A home without other dogs is also preferred (as other dogs misinterpret Dobby's noises as growling)

DUE TO OUR SCREENING PROCESS AND HOME CHECKS, WE RARELY DO ANY OUT OF AREA ADOPTIONS, HOWEVER WE WOULD CONSIDER SEATTLE AREA ADOPTERS FOR DOBBY.
