This seems like a good idea (sort of) assuming that the person doing the evaluations does a decent job of evaluating, and the people looking to adopt do a decent job of not being fobbish liars.
NBC 10 NEWS - News - Personality Test Matches People With Dogs: Providence Animal Rescue League will give you a test to help you find a dog that matches your personality type.“The adopter is going to fill out a Meet Your Match questionnaire, as well, to find out what kind of dog they're looking for that's going to work in with their personality,” said Jean McGroarty, of the Providence Animal Rescue League.After you take the personality test, you're given a pass and you match it to cards on the cages specifying the dogs' personality traits.
I wonder how well it works... I think I'll write to them and ask if it has reduced their “returns” rate. Or what exactly it has done for them. Anybody have experience with this kind of matching? What do you think of it? ℅ parl
