I keep meaning to say something about this, but what on earth can a person say?Gregoire family's 'first dog' killed by car: A tearful Gov. Chris Gregoire on Tuesday thanked citizens for consoling her family after their beloved “first dog” Franz was killed by a car. “This is a difficult time for my family,” she said at her weekly news conference when asked about Franz. Then she started to cry and could barely speak.How important are dogs in our lives? Important enough to disrupt regular business when they suddenly aren't there anymore.
The Gregoire family loves to go hiking and Franz refuses to get more than five feet away from Mike. Perhaps it’s because Mike feeds him scraps under the table when no one else is looking, but Mike claims they share a deep bond as the only two males in the family that the women simply can’t understand.My condolences to the Gregoire family. ℅ Franz
