Petoskey News-Review: Cheryl Albert, who has been breeding rare Swedish vallhunds for nearly 12 years, has watched the breed grow over the past decade from only about 100 dogs to around 600 dogs in the United States. She is now one of only about eight breeders in the United States, and the only one in the state of Michigan.Or do you have one of your own? Why do you love him or her? What makes them a special dog for you? Why am I asking? I don't know. I have a hunch I want to know more about other people's dogs. Yours, maybe. This afternoon the Vallhunds caught my eye. Tomorrow, maybe mutts. There's a lot to know about mutts.
