she has always loved the cold
she has always loved the cold
by smalldogs.
smalldogs's description:
she loves the night and the cold. when we first adopted her, she would sleep in the doghouse in the backyard, and i would make mr smalldogs go and get her and put her in the dog bed in our bedroom. now i let her be, and she sits out at night and watches for possums and rats. when she does come in to sleep, she sleeps on the couch, alone, while the other dogs sleep in the bedroom with me.

she has always been a nighttime dog, a loner.

when i'm warm, in bed, and she comes running in from outside, i like the feel of her cold fur and nose. i know she's been outside, having a good dog time.
